ZEUS AND LETO
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!
In Greek mythology, Zeus and Leto were lovers and the parents of the twins Artemis and Apollo. Leto and Zeus's relationship was complicated by Hera, Zeus's wife, who was jealous of Leto's pregnancy. Hera cursed Leto so that she could not give birth on solid ground or an island. Leto wandered Greece in pain until Zeus created the island of Delos to provide refuge. Leto gave birth to the twins on Delos.
In Simanity, Leto suffers the same fate in the hands of Hera. She spirals into depression made worse by Apollo and Artemis leaving her alone in Delos as soon as they come of age, which would later result to her taking her own life.
