Chapter 2: Mitéra

Hera was so furious about her failed plan.

Athena not only survived drowning but now
Hephaestus took no interest in Aphrodite despite her spell on both of them.

She discussed the situation with Zeus who agreed with her plan:
they needed to bind Hephaestus with Aphrodite once and for all.

They immediately arranged for their marriage, and they wanted it done the soonest.

Hephaestus had no choice but to obey his parents.
Aphrodite likewise could not say no to his father Zeus' orders.

Meanwhile, Eris found out about Ares' affair with Aphrodite.
She had originally planned to destroy him, but she fell in love with him in the process.
Ares' infidelity reignited Eris' desire to crush him, and so she will.

Ares did not want to lose Eris, so he tried to appease her although at the back of his mind,
he was still thinking about Aphrodite's sweet lips.

Eve woke up to yet another dream about a dying man.
She tried to search her mind for answers as to why that man was in her dreams twice,
and alas! She finally remembered Adam, her long lost other half.

She headed quickly to the Garden of Eden and found only Seth there.
She couldn't recognize him, perhaps because he was still a child when she left him.

Seth told her about Abel and Adam's passing. He tried to convince her to come home,
but Eve couldn't wrap her head around that thought especially now that little Psyche needs her.

She left Seth angry and devastated.
