Chapter 8: Exoria
Ananke, who had been observing Cain and Aclima from a distance,
Aclima's growing belly was proof that she was right
in her suspicions about the relationship of the siblings.
She decided it was time to put a stop to it or at least punish the two for breaking the laws of the gods.
Aclima needed to take a walk outside to ease the body aches she was feeling.
Feeling concerned, Cain followed her to a place she often visits at Chestnut Ridge.
Feeling concerned, Cain followed her to a place she often visits at Chestnut Ridge.
Aclima adores the waterfalls there where rainbows frequently appear.
She appreciated Cain's thoughtfulness, but she preferred not to be seen with him in the open,
so she reassured him that she was fine and encouraged him to leave.

"Alright, I'll gather some logs because tonight is expected to be the coldest,
and I want you to have a comfortable night's sleep," Cain reassured Aclima.
As soon as Cain left, Aclima felt a strange presence around her.
It was that familiar feeling that she felt while she and Cain were at their father's grave.
Suddenly, a voice called out her name which sent shivers down her spine.
She began to run aimlessly and frantically in fear as the rain started to pour.
What she didn't know was that it was Ananke's voice that she heard.
Ananke chanted some spells that teleported Aclima to Hecate's cave deep in the woods.
She had instructed Hecate beforehand on what to do with Aclima.
She regained her consciousness and woke up to an unfamiliar place.
Hecate saw that Aclima had awakened,
so she approached her and dragged her inside her cave.
There she kept her as a prisoner as per Ananke's instructions.
Aclima was so confused so she asked Hecate what she was doing to her.
"The gods have seen what you and your brother Cain had done.
It is just right to banish you from Eden because you have broken the laws of the gods!"
Aclima explained, "But we love each other! How could loving someone be wrong?"
Hecate replied, "I'm sorry, I do not make the laws."
Helpless, Aclima begged Hecate to release her. "Have you not noticed?
I am carrying a child! Please, spare this innocent being inside me
from whatever curse you or the gods have bestowed upon me!"
Meanwhile, Tartaros had been following Gaia over a hunch about her infidelity.
He saw Erebos being sweet with her and he instantly felt rage inside him.
Tartaros had not been successful at suppressing his emotions so he attacked Erebos from behind.
