Chapter 15: Bone of Contention

While Adam and Eve have happily moved on,
the gods seem unable to control themselves from doing the very thing
they have been preventing to happen.

Klotho and Lakhesis, responsible for deciding the lifespans of all beings, have started their work. The sound of Atropos' shears, which signifies the end of life, is getting louder. Even the mighty gods who have misused their powers are not exempt from this fate.

Zeus, king of the gods, is feeling the effects of the spell
despite his recent distractions in the form of Dione's son and Demeter's companionship.

Despite his efforts to escape the effects of the spell, Zeus still longs for Eve's touch.

Tartaros, who has been working with the gods, has also seen to it that Gaia,
the mother of both mortals and gods, is not immune to the spell.

The chaos that has enveloped the gods can be traced back to the arrival of Eros and Ananke.
Although Eros has ceased pursuing Khaos, Ananke's influence is unstoppable.
Even Kronos, god of time, has resorted to manipulating time to be with her.

But as with all things, there will be consequences.
