Chapter 14: Herding Call

As Zeus and Hera's relationship continued to worsen,
tensions between them reached a new peak when Hera had another child with someone else.

Despite his own unfaithfulness, Zeus was furious at Hera's blatant disregard for his pride and stormed off Olympus in anger. However, he soon encountered Demeter,
a young goddess who was the spitting image of Hera and proved to be much more fun and daring.

Zeus was intrigued by Demeter and couldn't resist her,
but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was not quite right.

What puzzles him though was how Dione and Demeter
came at the perfect time when he wanted to exact revenge on Hera.

It was later revealed that Demeter and Dione, another goddess, had been sent by the other gods
to distract Zeus and keep him from pursuing mortals like Eve.
Like sheep he was called, and he answered willingly to the herding call.
So did Hera.

Meanwhile, Hephaestus, Hera's son with Adam, found it hard to accept that he would soon have a new sibling. He wrestled with the idea of his family expanding and wasn't sure how he felt about it.
