Chapter 11: Apagorevménos

The Moerae have been observing Seth and Azura and reported everything to their mother, Themis.

Themis had known about the fate of Cain and Aclima
long before they even committed the sin of falling in love with each other.

Seth and Azura are no different. Themis, being the goddess of divine law and order,
realized it was an unfair law to prohibit mortals from loving their siblings
while the gods are allowed to do it.
Even Hecate's heart eventually softened and released Aclima because of her condition,
though she commanded her and Cain to never set foot in the Garden of Eden again.

Themis called upon the other gods and discussed the matter at hand.
They did not agree as it would set a precedent.
Themis would have no choice but to banish Seth and Azura the same way
Ananke banished Cain and Aclima.

She sent the Moerae to do what needed to be done.

As with any other forbidden love, Seth and Azura found themselves entwined
by an emotion so volatile it caught fire and burned them to the core.
