Chapter 6: Fántasma

Eris thought her renewed strength and revitalized powers from the Morae's spell would spare her from death,
but no matter how powerful she was, she was no match to Hecate who she underestimated.

Hecate gained back her strength and saw the lifeless body of Eris from a distance.

She then walked towards Eris and began chanting some words.

Her chants brought Eris back to life, but not for long.
Hecate was a powerful figure among the gods and goddesses in Simanity as the goddess of witchcraft and magic.
She had the ability to cast and manipulate magic and bring wealth and blessings to those who worshipped her.
Though her reputation was associated with darkness, what people didn't know was that
Hecate only used her powers to maintain balance and order among the gods and mortals.
Because of what Eris attempted to do to her husband Ares, Hecate made sure Eris paid for it.

She not only resurrected Eris, but also turned her into a sad and lonely wraith.
She cursed Eris to forever suffer from loneliness and sadness as punishment for attempting
to harm Ares who is the son of Hera under whom Hecate served as one of her priestesses.

Meanwhile, Nemesis finally realized she was alone in the forest.

She wasn't aware that Zeus had been observing her from a distance.

Scared, she ran aimlessly into the wrong direction.

Worried, Zeus ran after her and asked her to stop.

Nemesis stopped and looked behind her.
Zeus approached her and told her she was heading towards the wrong direction
and that he could guide her out of the forest.

As Nemesis is innocent, she didn't know what Zeus' intention was.

All she knew was that her heart raced so fast when Zeus stared deep into her eyes
and the hairs on her skin raised as soon as Zeus' hand touched hers.
