Chapter 10: Anástasi

Zeus heard Eve' last cry for help, but it was too late for him to come to her rescue
because he had been busy spending time with Leto.

When he learned of Eve's death through his magic, he could not believe it,
so he hurriedly went to see her hoping to prove his vision wrong.

He felt a deep sense of regret for not being there for Eve when she needed him most. He knows he could have helped her, but he was too focused on his own ego playing around with another woman to realize how serious hers were. He also realized that his absence may have contributed to her loss of hope to live,
and he felt a sense of guilt for not having been there to prevent it.
To address this guilt, he rushed to Eve's wake, hoping he has enough power to correct his mistake.
And it was true. Eve was indeed dead.

Zeus screamed in anger as he cursed all the gods who may have been responsible
for his beloved Eve's demise.

He wasn't ready to lose her, so he carried her not caring what Adam might feel
once he finds out he took Eve's body with him.

As he felt the weight of Eve's body,
his guilt became heavier and his anger towards Adam as well.

He blames Adam mostly for his selfishness
despite knowing who Eve truly loved between the two of them.

He brought Eve to a cave in the forest and gathered all his strength and power
as he summoned the spirit of the ancient gods to help him bring Eve back to life.

The ancient gods granted his wish in exchange for his immortality.

To Zeus, it was such a great cost, but seeing Eve alive again, it was all worth it.
