Poseidon and Aphrodite

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

In Greek mythology, Poseidon, the god of the sea, and Aphrodite, the goddess of love, engaged in a romantic affair that resulted in two daughters: Rhodos and Herophilos. This union was born from Aphrodite's gratitude toward Poseidon for his support after her tumultuous relationship with Ares, the god of war, was exposed. Following a confrontation with Hera regarding her infidelity with Ares, Aphrodite fainted. Poseidon, witnessing this, took her to a secluded cave where she later gave birth to her child with Ares. She then becomes indebted to Poseidon and bears him two daughters and a son.
