Athena had always been the epitome of strength and wisdom, but even she was not immune to the unpredictable nature of love. She knew she was in love with Morpheus, but she found herself attracted to Hephaestus, too. Athena couldn't resist the magnetic pull she felt towards him, and before she knew it, they were sharing another passionate kiss.

But as soon as the kiss was over, Athena was consumed by guilt. She couldn't bear the thought of betraying Morpheus, so she made the difficult decision to end things with Hephaestus and return to Morpheus.

However, Hephaestus didn't want to let her go. He knew that Morpheus was impotent and couldn't satisfy Athena's desires. He also knew that Athena was still deeply in love with Morpheus, and he didn't want to see her heartbroken.

So he stopped her from leaving and begged her to reconsider. He promised to be there for her and support her in any way he could. Athena was touched by his kindness and realized that Hephaestus was a good friend to have in her life.

She was pleased to know that Morpheus had broken Athena's heart, but she was infuriated when she learned of her son's relationship with Athena. She saw it as a threat to her plan and decided to take action.

Hera knew that the only way to crush Athena was to make her suffer the way she had suffered. She thought long and hard about a plan, and eventually came up with the perfect one. She would have Hephaestus marry someone else, and that someone else would be none other than Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty.

Hera knew that this would be a devastating blow to Athena. Not only would she lose the man she loved, but she would also have to watch him marry the goddess of love, someone she had always considered a rival. To Hera, it was the perfect plan. It would not only harm Athena but also get even with Dione, Aphrodite's mother, whom she had always despised.
