ADAM AND EVE

Click image to enlarge and see details

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

Adam and Eve are recognized as the first man and woman created by God in the Abrahamic religions, including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, as depicted in sacred texts such as the Bible, the Qur'an, and the Aqdas.

In the story of Simanity, Adam is portrayed as the first mortal, fashioned from the essence of the goddess Gaia. He is considered Eve's counterpart, but believes he is more superior as he was the first mortal created.  He becomes enamored with Hera, with whom he has a son named Hephaestus.

Eve is depicted as Adam's other half, destined to bear future generations of Simanity. Her narrative intertwines with that of Zeus, with whom she falls in love and gives birth to two daughters: Physis and Psyche.

This is my third time restarting my take on the decades challenge where I start from the very beginning, as in the creation of Simanity (my simlish term for humanity) with only Adam, Eve, Zeus, and goddess Hera in my game (no other sims, no NPCs which was made possible by mods). I will add more characters and give some sort of a back story for each of the occults as to their roots and beginnings.

I keep redoing it and as much as I want to make everything as accurate as possible, the limitations of the game and the very few available custom contents for this theme makes it difficult for me, plus the fact that I suck at The Bible version of the history of humanity and am too lazy to do research lol. Since this is just a game, I decided to ditch that history and instead set the autonomy to full, let my sims decide their own future with as little (divine) intervention from me.

I am also thinking of incorporating some Greek gods and goddesses just to make it a little bit more interesting. Let's see how it shapes the history of Simanity. Let this serve as a warning as I envision the events in this fictional Sims story that is a mixture of a bit of bible stories and Greek Mythology that involve sensitive topics like inbreeding and the like to surely hurt other people's sensibilities.

Since the family tree of Greek gods and goddesses have so many versions, I chose the ones that made sense to me and contributed to the flow of the story and skipped those who I think aren't necessary to include in my storyline.  Hope you like it!

QUICK LOOK INTO THE STORY:
(This is a developing story that gets updated with new chapters)

This story unfolds in a world where gods and mortals intertwine, their destinies inextricably linked.

Adam and Eve meet in the Garden of Eden where they were placed by the gods to populate it to start Simanity but feel distant from each other, mirroring the growing rift between gods Hera and Zeus. Adam, feeling the growing distance, turned his gaze towards the divine.  So did Eve.

Their infidelities intertwine as Adam and Hera grow closer, while Zeus and Eve become involved, producing children who will one day face the consequences of their parents’ choices.

Eros, orchestrator of romantic connections, manipulates their emotions, and Gaia, empowered to take lives, exerts her dominance, disrupting the underworld and creating a tense rivalry with Tartaros.

Hera meets Hypnos and as they become closer, the Fates begin stripping gods of their immortality, punishing them for abusing their powers. Mortal children like Cain and Abel find themselves caught up in these conflicts, with Cain accidentally killing Abel and facing lasting guilt. Eve’s health declines, and Zeus attempts to revive her, sacrificing his power, but their relationship remains troubled.

The story expands with new tensions as Artemis and Apollo, longing for freedom, leave their home, leading Leto to take her own life. Aphrodite, now pregnant by Ares, adds another layer to the familial tensions. New generations arise: Aclima gives birth to Enoch, and Theia and Hyperion joyfully welcome Helios. Meanwhile, Persephone, now grown, catches Hades’ eye. With Demeter not allowing Hades to get close to Persephone, Hades angrily summons the earth to swallow Persephone, causing volcanic chaos and heartbreak.

Gaia, suspicious of Krios, Iapetos, Koios, and Hyperion for Okeanos’s death, tricks and captures them, later subjecting Ouranos to a slow, fiery punishment. Rheia discovers the affair between Kronos and Ananke, confronting and cursing Kronos in a rage that ultimately ends his life, leaving Ananke heartbroken.

Other stories weave through the drama: Physis warns her son Karpos about trusting strangers, while he reassures her of his strength. Hera secretly visits Circe’s coven to check on her daughter Hebe, from whom she’s been estranged. Nemesis, abandoned by Zeus, is left alone in the forest and pregnant, naming her child Helene. Meanwhile, Morpheus retreats to a cave, consumed by sorrow.

As powerful as they are, the gods find themselves weakened, consumed by jealousy, vengeance, and loss. In their pursuit of forbidden love, they bring turmoil upon mortals and themselves, leading to lasting heartbreak and bitter divisions across the kingdom.
