Chapter 10: Anagénnisi
PART I:
PHANES stands at the edge of a golden cliff where light never fades.
Before him was the blazing mirror of HELIOS, god of the sun,
guardian of oaths and god of sight.

PHANES:
"Oh, mighty Helios, bringer of light and warmth to the world...
If erred I might have, show me what's right..."
If erred I might have, show me what's right..."
eyes open from agonal respiration.

PHANES watches, deeply disturbed. A rare flicker of sorrow crosses his eternal face.

PHANES (softly):
"Not like this... Not for one who knew love so purely."

He closes his eyes and breathes in the cosmic energy around him.

PHANES:
"Live again, Eros. And may you find what was once lost."
The infant coos softly, his bright eyes filled with a familiar light.
A new beginning had dawned.
PART II:
Poseidon had a vision of a visitor approaching his den,
so he hurriedly left Aphrodite in the cave where he had been keeping her for the time being.
APHRODITE sleeps, her newborn child resting beside her.
Moonlight filters through the cave’s entrance.
PHANES appears in a dream — luminous, gentle.

PHANES (in dream):
"Our new king Zeus has designated you as the goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation.
Your son shall be the new god of love, passion, and fertility.
He will...
...continue the unfulfilled mission of Eros, and thus, will bear his name...
...henceforth..."
PART III:
Somewhere in the forest, Hecate stands outside a hidden cave, infront of her was Cain.
Inside, Aclima puts Enoch to sleep.

HECATE:
"Now that your wife has safely given birth...
I shall take you to Asphodel Meadows until Zeus has decided on your punishment..."

I shall take you to Asphodel Meadows until Zeus has decided on your punishment..."

CAIN (restraining his rage):
"I cannot just leave my wife and child just like that...
HECATE (firmly):
ACLIMA:
"Cain?"
PART IV:
The quiet forest pulses with shadows, blankets it with thick ice.
EREBOS and NYX, cloaked in dark mist, appear in a cave.
NYX:
EREBOS:
"Then we go deeper. To the Hollow. Let the light forget us."

NYX:
"And our bloodline?"

EREBOS (protectively):
"We will preserve it at all cost."
PART V:
Just like the couple Nyx and Erebos and other gods of darkness,
THALASSA, young and frightened, wanders in the forest.
Her parents, AITHER and HEMERA, were taken to Tartarus.
She stumbles upon a cave — strange, silent, alive.

Inside, she finds PONTOS.
PONTOS stirs, sensing her presence. He gets up and sees Thalassa standing in front of him.
PART VI:
The moonlight shimmers over a quiet, sacred grove.
DIONE stands still, her eyes filled with restrained fury.
She looks up and prays fervently.
DIONE:
"Goddess of balance… hear me.
I want to see what has become of my daughter, Aphrodite..."
The image of APHRODITE, weeping as Hera scolds her, flickers across the sky.
DIONE (quietly, to herself):
"You took and hurt my daughter, Hera…
Now I will hurt the ones you hold dear..."
She levitates in deep meditation as she attempts to communicate with Nemesis,
her daughter whom Zeus had hidden and impregnated.
her daughter whom Zeus had hidden and impregnated.
DIONE:
"My beloved daughter, Nemesis...
Just like your sister Aphrodite, I've seen how the gods have forsaken you...
I've also seen you have come of age.
Although your sister Aphrodite is responsible for your disappearance,
I want you to know that it is the gods who made her so...
As your mother, I know the powers that lie dormant in you.
It is time you yield them for your own good...
There is no point in relying upon those gods now that they seem to have lost their minds with their insatiable thirst for power...
Your fate is in your hands...
Open your eyes and deliver justice where Olympus has turned blind.
Ares will bleed for this."
PART VII:
Dark stones encase a small, silent cave, lit by embers that float like fireflies.

NEMESIS lies in slumber.
Her eyes snap open.

Her mother’s voice echoes through the walls of the cave like a divine chord.
DIONE:
DIONE:
"Nemesis, my child, open your eyes and deliver justice where Olympus has turned blind."
Nemesis slowly rises.

NEMESIS (reverent, calm):
"Mother… I hear you."
She gets up from bed, and the little life in her womb flutters,
as if acknowledging a divine oath has been reignited.

as if acknowledging a divine oath has been reignited.

NEMESIS:
"The scales of justice will tilt... and blood will answer blood."
PART VIII:
Dione arrives at Poseidon's den.

Poseidon, aware of her presence, anticipates the good news.
To be continued...
